TIP: If you want to read a book that you didn't get in the swap, write your name on a piece of paper and stick it on the last page. Whoever got it will know you want to borrow it later! 2 On the day of the swap, cut paper into small rectangles to use as tickets. Hand them out as your friends arrive. Give them one ticket for each book they bring. 5 6 7 7 4 Now it's time to get your swap on. Whoever has number one gets to choose a book fi rst. Everyone gets a turn in order. If people have more than one ticket to use, start again until all the books have been swapped. Then put numbered pieces of paper in a bowl and have everyone choose one without looking.
