On SEPTEMBER 20*, elementary and
secondary school teachers and kids
3-17 are invited to devote a period of
the day to science readings. These
readings could include:
• non-fiction book
• science-fiction novel
• science-themed graphic novel
• scientist's biography
• science magazine, etc.
HOW TO ENTER:
1) Devote a period of the day to
science reading
2) Visit the contest site at
owlkids.com/sciencereadingday
3) Enter your classroom or personal
information
4) Share your reading list and/or
photos from the day
*In order to recognize time constraints on
teachers, the reading period may also be held
on September 19 or 21 without penalty.
