Mom helps Charlie with his seat
belt. Charlie slides up the window
shade. He sees people loading
luggage onto the plane.
Finally, the plane is ready to fly.
It drives slowly to the runway. The
engine roars as the plane speeds
up and takes off. Charlie watches
the ground get farther away. The
plane flies right through some
clouds. Charlie can't believe it!
The flight attendant brings
Charlie some juice and a little
cookie. Charlie draws pictures and
plays checkers with Nate. When he
looks out the window again, he sees
