nap. The next time Charlie looks
out the window, he sees mountains.
The pilot says, "We'll be landing
in Vancouver shortly."
"Already?!" Charlie asks. He
watches the ground get closer. The
plane lands with a little bump.
There's a loud whooshing sound as
the plane slows down. Charlie, Nate,
and Mom wait for the plane to stop
before they get up.
"We're done the standing and
the sitting parts. Now it's time to
walk," Mom says.
They walk down long hallways and
up and down escalators to get their
luggage. Just when Charlie thinks
he might not be able to walk any
more, Mom says, "Nate, Charlie,
look! There's Nana!"
"Nana, I flew on an airplane!"
Charlie says. "I had to stand and sit
and then walk a lot! And I did it!"
"I am so glad you did!" Nana says,
giving him a big hug.
