Meera, a curious kid, decided to
find out what was wrong. She found
Laddu sitting quietly.
"Why are you here all alone,
Laddu?" she asked. "Usually, you
and Diya are together on Diwali."
"We had an argument. But I don't
need Diya's help to make Diwali
special," Laddu mumbled.
Meera then saw Diya, unlit, sitting
on a doorstep. Gently, she picked
Diya up and lit her wick. Then she
picked up Laddu and carried both
of them to the town square.
