How
it
works
Light
shines
in
a
straight
line.
If
something
blocks
its
path,
it
can't
shine
through
it.
This
causes
a
shadow.
What to do:

Face your body away
from any light source (like
the Sun or a street lamp).

Ask a family member to
trace the outline of your
shadow on the ground or
the piece of paper.
BONUS: Trace your shadow
on another day or night. Is
