Science Literacy Week 2020
On SEPTEMBER 23*, elementary and
secondary school teachers and kids
3-17 are invited to devote a period of
the day to science readings. These
readings could include:
• non-fiction book
• science-fiction novel
• science-themed graphic novel
• scientist's biography
• science magazine
HOW TO ENTER:
1) Devote a period of the day to
science reading.
2) Visit the contest site at
owlkids.com/sciencereadingday.
3) Enter your classroom or personal
information.
4) Share your reading list and/or
photos from the day.
*In order to recognize time constraints on
teachers, the reading period may also be held
on September 22 or 24 without penalty.
